# FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the iOS application.

### **How much does the** FLTR **iOS App Cost?**

The FLTR iOS application is now free to download from the App Store. Previously, a one-time fee of $2.99 was required due to Apple's policy for apps using core technologies like the TrueDepth camera, especially for showcasing NFTs. However, we have made changes to provide a usable app for our community without any cost. Enjoy the seamless tracking of our filters at no charge!

### Why isn't Android supported?

Apple heavily invested in its TrueDepth camera–the technology is more consistent and advanced than Andriod’s facial tracking. We will work on implementing an Android version of the FLTR app when their technology has reached a certain level. However, Android has several manufacturers, which can lead to significant inconsistencies between specific devices.

### Why do I have access to a DMT Ape on the main screen?

FLTR must provide value with the base app to comply with Apple's terms because it is a paid product. There is a $2.99 one-time app fee since we are utilizing Apple’s core technology–the TrueDepth camera ([#why-does-the-application-cost-money](#why-does-the-application-cost-money "mention") for an in-depth explanation). For this phase, the team has temporarily made the founder’s BAYC readily available to all FLTR iOS app users. This entry-accessible filter will be swapped out for a filter more fitting for this specific use case in the future.

### Where’s my limited edition Mr. Anon, included with the OG555 pass?

FLTR is directing most of its resources into stabilizing the iOS application. The first and foremost priority is to launch a fully operational mobile app for our users. As a result, the limited edition of Mr. Anon will be available on the FLTR app shortly after the initial onboarding process has been completed.

### Where do I find the digital wearables I’ve won from previous giveaways?

To ensure a smooth, user-friendly app experience, most of our resources and efforts at this time are focused on a successful mobile app launch.--thus delaying the availability of digital wearable claims on our [website](https://bored.filt3r.io/). Rest assured; users can claim their digital wearables soon, as this is one of our major priorities after the app launch. Please open a [Discord ticket](https://discord.gg/FILT3R) if you would like to double-check or change the wallet on file for these DW claims.

### Can I Use the filter on PC for Meetings?

Yes! You can use your filters on mobile anywhere that allows screen-share, such as Discord, Zoom, and Google Meet. This method is a temporary workaround similar to using the filter on a desktop.

### Why is OBS needed to use the filter on a desktop?

Users must use the virtual camera feature on OBS to display their filters in Zoom, Google Meet, and Discord meetings, while the iPhone acts as a webcam (refer to the detailed setup instructions for [MAC](https://filt3r-studio.gitbook.io/docs/setup/setting-up-for-live-meetings#preparations-1) and [Windows](https://filt3r-studio.gitbook.io/docs/setup/setting-up-for-live-meetings#preparations)). In fact, you can use the filter with any software that allows the usage of a virtual camera. This method is a temporary workaround until the release of the FLTR desktop application.

### Where can I report issues or provide feedback?

FLTR strives for a seamless, user-friendly in-app experience--the community's feedback is vital to our success. Please open a ticket in the [FLTR Discord](https://discord.gg/fltr), where our team can happily assist you!
